Description

We manufacture this seat base plate, developed for our RBH rear frame, from glass fiber, which we reinforce with carbon fibers in the structurally stressed areas. We work here with high-quality fabrics, and use epoxy-based resins such as those used in professional motorsports or aviation. Therefore, our parts are not comparable in quality with hand-laminated GRP parts (where mostly inferior random fiber mats and cheap polyester resin are used), because they are much more accurate fitting and stable. The seat base plate is designed in such a way that it also maintains stability through molding and allows a perfect connection to the tank. Similar to the originals, it is inserted in a tab at the front and fastened at the back with screws. If you want to have the seat base plate covered with thicker genuine leather, we supply compensating material with which you can compensate the leather thickness - and thus mount the seat accurately. We also offer the seat base plate ready upholstered with high-quality black or brown imitation leather. Our upholsterer uses material that is also used by VW or Mercedes.
